In addition to supporting the state opera Unter den Linden in Berlin for many years, for example by donating the proceeds from the annual “State Opera Sunday” at the KulturKaufhaus, the Dussmann Group primarily supports projects that promote the cultural education of children and young adults. More than 100 children’s libraries have already been donated to kindergartens, schools and children’s wards in hospitals. Dussmann also sponsors an annual competition at the music high school Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach in Berlin. Winners subsequently perform on the stage at KulturKaufhaus.
