Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus has over 7,300 square meters of sales space over five floors. Around 650,000 articles are displayed including books, music, films, games, audio books, gifts, stationery, sheet music and much more.
In our English Bookshop you can also find a huge range of English language books.
All 3,2 Million visitors to the store each year benefit from the friendly, well-informed sales staff. Our customer-friendly opening times enable visitors to browse and buy 15 hours a day from Monday to Friday and14.5 hours on Saturdays.
On the KulturBühne stage their are readings, short concerts and book signing without entrance charge. The vertical garden, designed by the horticultural artist, Patrick Blanc lends the KulturKaufhaus a tropical atmosphere. More than 6,000 plants grown up a vertical area of 270 square meters. You can relax at the foot of the garden in the café-restaurant „Ursprung – eat - drink - dream“ and enjoy regional and largely organic delicacies.
