50th Anniversary

In Mai 2013, the Dussmann Group celebrated its 50th anniversary with a gala and the publication of company history.

Cultural Commitment

Once a year there is a state opera Sunday at Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus when all proceeds are donated to the state opera Unter den Linden in Berlin.

But the main focus of the Dussmann Group's sponsoring is on the Promotion of the cultural education of children and Young adults. More than 100 children's libraries have been donated to schools, child-care facilities and children's wards in hospitals. The winners of the annual Dussmann music competition at the Music high School Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach perform on the stage at KulturKaufhaus.

Training

We constantly improve the skills and qualifications of our workforce at the company's own training center, the Dussmann Campus and at the Kursana Akademie.
