Dussmann KulturKindergarten facilities are characterized by extended opening hours, bilingual care, emphasis on the arts and a concept based on the contextual approach. Core opening times are arranged with the contract partner in accordance with needs, if necessary, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We cooperate with numerous local cultural organizations when organizing activities for the children. A large proportion of our educators are native speakers of English and children learn English in play. Our pedagogical work focuses on the situations when children interact with each other and we concentrate on answering the needs of each individual.
In addition to a corporate culture which places emphasis on values such as empathy, a practical approach and mutual respect, the working day of employees at Dussmann KulturKindergarten is strongly influenced by the arts. Music, art, drama as well as food traditions are all part of the education provided by the child-care facilities.

Staff consists largely of state recognized educators with experience, talent and a passion for art handicrafts, theater or music. There are also social pedagogical specialists at Dussmann KulturKindergarten. An internship or an apprenticeship as a nursery educator (“Erzieher”) offers the opportunity of joining the team.
