There are currently 200 employees at  Kursana who have taken on the role as practical instructors. Instructors meet regularly at Kursana facilities to exchange experiences and educational  inspiration.

At the beginning of training, all apprentices are invited to Berlin to take part in a 2-day event.  In addition to workshops on topics  involved in nursing and care and presentations by management and long-standing Kursana personnel are give. Apprentices make their first practical exercises and get to know each other. By wearing a costume which simulates old age and use of a wheelchair, apprentices learn what it feels like - it is a unique experience.

In a final spurt before final examinations, Kursana organizes a seminar for apprentices to help them revise. The object of the exercise is to prepare them so that they can go to examinations without apprehension. Simultaneously, Kursana provides information on the career paths at Kursana.
